Facing a woman who wants to eat you, cutting off your finger, running away to the forest and things too deadly to believe, are extremely exciting. If I were The Guardian or The Observer, I would give it 10/10. When I first heard Hansel and Gretel (I think it was a German version), I thought “well that’s more exciting than most fairy tales”, but compared to “A Tale Dark and Grimm” it’s boring!*Next time if I see the name of the author on a book, I’m just going to read it.The End* the version was pretty exciting too.
